Adverum Biotechnology Inc. (NASDAQ: ADVM) gained 2.14% after the company announced the resignation of Leone Patterson as CFO and president to pursue a different opportunity.
Adverum appoints interim CFO and new COO
The company’s chief business officer Christopher J. DeRespino will take the CFO position in an acting capacity, while chief legal officer Peter Soparkar will be the new chief operating officer. These appointments will be effective immediately, and Soparkar and DeRespino will report to the company’s CEO and President Laurent Fischer.
Chico’s announced a reorganization of its team
Chico’s FAS Inc. (NYSE: CHS) jumped 10.17% after the company announced the appointment of Nancy Johnson as the SVP, GMM Merchandising and Design, and Dimple Rao as the VP of Product management.
Ms. Johnson will oversee product design and the company’s overall strategy and will be reporting to Chico’s FAS CEO and president Molly Langenstein. She has over 30 years of experience and will be joining from Macy’s, where she was an executive VP of private brands leading Women’s. She has a track record in creating, launch and transforming most of Macy’s private brands.
On the other hand, Rao will be responsible for end-to-end consumer experience design and architecture and will report to the company’s chief digital officer Jay Topper. Rao has over 15 years of experience in crucial customer experience improvement development.
Hecla makes new appointments.
Hecla Mining Company (NYSE: HL) has announced that External Affairs VP Luke Rusell will retire on August 2, 2021, but will be consulting in government affairs. He has served the company for eight years leading its sustainability, environment, and government activities.
Also, Corporate Development VP Robert Brown has been appointed VP of Corporate Development and Sustainability. Human Resources and Senior Counsel Michael Clary has been appointed SVP and Chief Administrative Officer. All appointments will be effective from July 1, 2020
