The BlackBerry IVY Advisory council is an invitation-only organization comprising of top companies in the mobility and transport sectors seeking to advise and shape the BlackBerry IVY development community. Equally, the body will help define automotive applications and vertical services entering the market via BlackBerry IVY™, the company’s Intelligence Vehicle Data Platform.
An advisory council to help in the development of high-impact tech creation
The goal of the BlackBerry IVY Advisory Council is to help the BlackBerry IVY development community go forward by focusing on high-impact tech use cases and services that use in-vehicle data. In addition, members of the council will assist in creating the BlackBerry IVY roadmap, focusing on co-value creation to address vital pain points that OEMs are trying to resolve.
TELUS, HERE Technologies, GEICO, Cerence, and AWS are among the BlackBerry IVY Advisory Council’s launch partners. Members of the Advisory Council will have access to developer tools and BlackBerry IVY’s new products and also coordinated marketing initiatives to showcase their product ideas. More members of the Advisory Council are likely in the coming weeks.
Industry interest in BlackBerry IVY led to the formation of the council
The Advisory Council was formed in response to industry interest in BlackBerry IVY following the initial launch. BlackBerry IVY can assist OEMs, fleet operators, smart mobility providers, and developers leverage the rich insights from the latest intelligent connected vehicles.
