Camber Energy Inc (NYSEAMERICAN: CEI) Has Received Investment, And Asensus Surgical, Inc. (NYSE American: ASXC) Has Applied For Machine Vision Capabilities Expansion

Camber Energy Inc (NYSEAMERICAN: CEI) is back in the news. First, the company announced that it sealed an equity transaction deal. The deal is concluded with an Institutional Investor. The value of the deal is worth more than $15 million. Second, the company announced that it would use the funds for working capital, new acquisitions acquired directly or through its majority-owned subsidiary, and other business purposes.

The maturity date of existing promissory notes extended

In a separate announcement, the company conveyed the maturity date of existing promissory notes is extended. A source from the company shared that the date has been extended from December 11, 2022 to January 1, 2024. In addition, Camber Energy Inc has incorporated a conversion feature in each of the promissory notes. Under this feature, the holder is entitled to convert all or a portion of the principal amount(s) into shares of the company’s common stock. The conversion price is fixed at $1.25 per share. 

Asensus Surgical Inc (NYSEAMERICAN: ASXC) announces machine vision capabilities expansion 

Asensus Surgical Inc (NYSEAMERICAN: ASXC) announced that the company had filed a 510(k) submission with the FDA to expand machine vision capabilities. The new advanced features will allow the surgeon to gather real-time data while performing a surgery. The concept will work based on the anatomical structures in the surgical field. 

“I am enthusiastic about the new capabilities which will soon be added to the Senhance Surgical System,” said Dr. Amit Trivedi, chair of surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center. “These new features would provide planning tools that haven’t existed before in digital and robotic surgery and allow me to perform more consistent surgery.”
