The airline is offering low fares to customers across the Western U.S. Later this year, the company hopes to begin flight services on East Coast. Avelo aims at leveraging flight data for achieving efficiency standards apart from best-in-class safety. The idea behind adopting this digital solution is to enable participation in safety programs with the Federal Aviation Administration or FAA.
About Electronic Flight Operation Quality Assurance (eFOQA)
Electronic Flight Operation Quality Assurance (eFOQA) is the flagship FDM or FOQA/Flight Data Monitoring product from GE Digital. It offers flight safety and data processing solutions. The solutions include a library of over 10,000 pre-built algorithms that enable data processing and analytics customization.
The eFOQA Mainline allows users to view broader trends while also drilling down certain flights which may pose hazards or monitor mitigation efforts. The solutions from GE Digital allow for SOP compliance or Standard Operating Procedure and maintenance studies. There’s no requirement for coding knowledge while using the solutions since they come with easy-to-use tools.
On processing of data, a data analytics platform called Tableau from Tableau Software allows result visualization in web-based, interactive presentations. In addition, the eFOQA Mainline offers the airlines high value with unrestricted access to the EMS or Event Measurement System of GE Digital Aviation Software for the safety analysts.
