Genasys Inc. (NASDAQ: GNSS), the worldwide leader in vital infrastructure schemes and solutions, today proclaimed a follow-on of $9.7 million requisitions from the U.S. Army. The third LRAD® 450XL requisition was received in fiscal 2021 under the Army’s Acoustic Hailing Device (AHD) plan of record.
Low outline, lightweight, and intended to be fixed on tripods, the LRAD 450XL integrates LRAD’s original skill to produce the audio production approximately twice it’s mass and weight with the same high plane of clearness and intelligibility reliable with the LRAD product line. The LRAD 450XL is the AHD option for U.S. and global defense, homeland safety, and law enforcement organizations.
Genasys Inc has also stated the Southern Marin Fire Protection District (SMFD) prearranged Genasys Integrated Mass Notification Systems (IMNS) for five sites to offer early caution and crisis mass announcements throughout wildfires other dangerous events.

When finished, Mill Valley, the SMFD, and Marin County will make active, and function all IMNS fit in the county using Genasys Emergency Management (GEM) Command-and-Control software. In addition, other county fittings are being reflected.
IMNS unites GEM software and Genasys’ industry-leading outside speaker collection to give a full-featured emergency caution and life safety announcement scheme. The software mechanically accepts and propels real-time external antenna information to emergency management workers. This data makes specific opportune and precise emergency notifications are transported through multiple conduits to people affected by wildfires, deluges, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other tragedies.
Genasys Inc has also announced that Alameda is the newest California county to launch the company’s Zonehaven crisis evacuation software-as-a-service (SaaS) answer. This week, Alameda County and Genasys’ Zonehaven decided and released 1,076 evacuations for the county’s 1.7 million inhabitants and started a “Know Your Zone” crusade. Under a multi-year agreement, Genisys will offer preparation, teaching, and possessions to Alameda County first responders, public safety organizations, and cities to manage crisis evacuations and repopulations.
