Inseego Corp (NASDAQ:INSG) Nets New Customer After Presentation At CES 2019

The technology space is evolving very fast, and Inseego Corp (NASDAQ:INSG) is among the firms benefiting. The 5G NR wireless routers mainly target Tier-One operators and other industrial operators.

Interestingly, the firm presented the device at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas. After the presentation, an Asia-Pacific Tier-One operator selected Inseego’s fixed wireless 5G NR for use in In-Home Broadband Deployment. Notably, the device will help the company deploy its services across sub-6GHz and mmWave bands.

According to Inseego, 5G is the network of the future. However, they are taking the central role to ensure that enthusiasts can access it today. Notably, the firm develops gadgets that facilitate the utilization of new generation and fast broadband. Interestingly, the company develops products that enable flexibility for the users and are deployable globally.

As per Dan Mondor, Inseego Chairman and CEO, the firm are working with major players to increase the penetration of 5G. Notably, the company is spearheading this campaign with the help of 5G NR technologies. According to the CEO, the company’s portfolio of 5G products supports sub-6GHz and mmWave bands and others. The technologies further support novel use cases and create a whole new world of opportunities.

More customers, more competition

“Our innovative 5G NR portfolio includes fixed, mobile and industrial IoT solutions, providing our customers with a broad choice of solutions for a diverse set of applications,” said Mondor.

Notably, the firm showcased the 5G portfolio at the CES 2019 that included more than 4,500 exhibiting companies. Launched in 1967 by the Consumer Technology Association, the event gives a platform for novel electronic concepts. Therefore, one should expect high-end and never-before-seen gadgets during exhibitions.

Interestingly, the dawn of 5G became a reality at this year’s event. Notably, the next-generation was a by-word on every techie’s lips as more and more companies plan to roll it out. As such, it is safe to conclude that Inseego should brace itself for more customers, and competitors.
