Nikola Corporation (NASDAQ: NKLA) established a nationwide plant for its Class 8 truck sales and service coverage and added five new additional independent dealers that will cover more than 51 locations.
Expanding footprints: Nikola Corporation is one of the leading players in manufacturing heavy-duty commercial batteries for electric vehicles. The company announced its second phase of expansion, wherein they chartered a nationwide plan for the sale of Class 8 trucks. Moreover, it is also looking to extend its service coverage with the addition of five new independent dealers, which will enable the company to cover more than 51 locations in Arizona, Texas, Colorado, California, New Mexico, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia. As a result, the company will now provide its services to over 116 locations across the United States, as Nikola continues to fulfill its words to expand its dealer network.
Widen dealers network: As per the company, the five independent dealers added to the Nikola network coverage had cumulative over 80 years of experience, providing strong sales and service to its customers. The dealer network expansion includes Empire Truck & Trailer (7 locations in California and Arizona), HOLT Truck Centers (at 7 locations in Texas), Ring Power (14 locations in Florida), Carter Machinery (12 locations in Delaware, Virginia, and Mayland), and Wagner Equipment Co. (11 locations in Colorado, New Mexico).
These five new independent dealers are expected to provide the leading service that Nikola Corporation is building. As per the management, the customers are expected to benefit from the experience of these partners. The dealers will closely work with customers to provide them one of the best services, help them in maximizing operational efficiencies, vehicle uptime, and overall industry adoption in BEV and FCEV vehicles.
In addition, in April, the company announced a partnership with RIG360 Service Network to provide sales and service products for commercial customers at over 65 RIG360 dealer locations throughout the Southeast, Northeast, and Midwest regions of the United States.
