Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) has had a Parcel Volume Growth of over 100% and Announces its New Cross-Border Services

Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) is a global tech firm that provides commerce options and solutions in the mailing, shipping, eCommerce, and financial services spaces. The company recently unveiled its new Cross-Border Services suite that’s meant to help ecomm merchants, from the large online marketplace to the small independent seller, efficiently reach more customers worldwide as well as grow their businesses.

Importance of the new cross-border ecomm services platform

Global Ecommerce President and Executive VP Gregg Zegras said that the company had made tremendous strategic investments to help modernize its cross-border services (which includes enhancing its tech and the addition of new logistics functionality to help enhance cross-border eCommerce for the biggest marketplaces in the world). And offer it to millions of brands, retailers, and merchants, including WWE, Rue La La, PacSun, L.L.Bean, and Gilt Group. He further stated that these investments the company has made, alongside what they’ve picked up in the over 20 years of doing business in this industry, have resulted in its new and improved Cross-Border Services suite.

The company has enhanced its high-quality, high-performance cross-border services suite for ecomm merchants. That’s not all, though. It will also provide merchants with better flexibility to access more modular actions to help meet specific needs. In addition, with a wide array of cross-border services, retailers can now have access to solutions that can fit their business regardless of where they are or how they are doing on the international journey.

The suite has four primary core services, which include;

  1. Cross-border retail
  2. Cross-border storefront
  3. Cross-border delivery
  4. Cross-border quoting

When it comes to cross-border ecomm strategies, Pitney Bowes’ heritage goes all the way back to when Borderfree was created in 1999. From then, it went on to launch the world’s first high-quality cross-border ecomm platform. Pitney Bowes bought Borderfree in 2015.
