Bright Health Group Inc (NYSE: BHG), the integrated healthcare company re-appointed Andy Slavitt to its Board of Directors. Initially, he was a part of the Board back in 2018. He had taken temporary leave earlier this year to serve in U.S. President Joe Biden’s pandemic response team. he was the senior advisor on his team. Additionally, he also served support in the vaccination program rollout team. Andy Slavitt has also led Medicaid and Medicare as its head in President Obama’s tenure. He has been the Board Chair Emeritus for the United States of Care. He founded a healthcare firm, Town Hall Ventures, which infuses funds in underrepresented communities. He started serving as the company’s independent director with effect from August 1, 2021.
ContextLogic Inc (NASDAQ: WISH) appointed Tarun Jain as Chief Product Officer
ContextLogic Inc (NASDAQ: WISH), the eCommerce platform for mobile, has recently announced that it appointed Tarun Jain for the position of Chief Product Officer. This is the newly created designation in the company. Mr. Jain shall be reporting directly to the CEO and Founder of the company, Piotr Szulczewski. He shall be leading the product organization of the company while also creating a product strategy. In addition, Mr. Tarun Jain shall be leading the company in preparing its roadmap and strategy for products, which aligns with the strategic goals. He has recently served as the Director of Product Management at Google, Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ: GOOGL). He was on Board with Google since 2017.
